Somethings on Patreon!

Hello from Seattle!

This is a crazy time and we have all been affected in different ways. We hope and pray that you are all staying healthy! Here’s an update from your friendly neighborhood folk duo:

We're on Patreon!

Music That Matters
We started making music because it meant something to us. We keep making music because it means something to you, our listeners! Throughout our years of traveling and sharing songs and stories, many of you have shared your own stories of hurt, forgiveness, and healing with us. We have loved meeting you and getting to know you! We have frequently heard comments like, "Your concert was a healing therapy session for me," and, "I feel like I just got a big musical hug!" We are honored that you feel that way and that our music is something that matters to you!

After spending the greater part of three years on the road, we realized that we have been running our music business at an unsustainable pace—which is partly why you haven’t heard from us in so long! Living on the road and depending on nearly constant touring for the vast majority of our income does not lend itself to health—in mind, body, spirit, or marriage. We have realized that if we want our art to continue to matter, we have to operate differently—we cannot provide valuable content and concert experiences if we burn ourselves out.

Where You Come In
Enter Patreon! Over the years, we have received help from friends, family, and complete strangers. This has been essential to the existence of Mr & Mrs Something. If we are going to sustainably continue making music that matters, we need this kind of help ongoing—we need people who believe in what we do to come alongside us and walk this journey with us. Patreon is how that can happen. It is a platform similar to Kickstarter and Go Fund Me, but instead of a one time financial gift, folks can become a patron and give monthly support. The platform allows us to offer exclusive rewards that are only available to those in our Patreon community! If you are interested in joining our Something Family, please go to www.patreon.com/mrandmrssomething

We want to continue to offer you music that matters. By joining our Patreon community, you are helping us to encourage listeners amidst hardship, struggle, and whatever the story of life holds (including making it through a pandemic!)—YOU are helping us continue to make music that matters!

Wishing you health, love, & peace!
