Christmas #Tunesday 2 of 4

Christmas Tunesday 2 Of 4.jpg

Hello!

December is in full swing. It has been snowing a little bit here in Seattle and we are enjoying the blessings of this season! The Christmas Lighting Festival in Leavenworth, WA is next on our concert agenda. Don't miss out on the magic of this little Bavarian town:

Friday 12/9
Saturday 12/10

Sunday 12/11
Friday 12/16
Saturday 12/17

The 2nd Christmas #tunesday video is an original tune inspired by the Magi. Have you met the King?

“So we offered up our treasures and laid them down at the child’s feet; for we had met the King.”

Love,

Mr & Mrs Something

Is That a One-Antlered Reindeer?

Just because it's still November doesn't mean we can't start celebrating Christmas—at least that's what this reindeer thinks! Starting tomorrow, we have a handful of performances where you might be able to catch this guy and his other half! ;)

Wednesday 11/30 - Victorian Country Christmas, Puyallup
Sunday 12/4 - Calvary Christian Assembly, Seattle
Friday 12/9 - Christmas Lighting Festival, Leavenworth
Saturday 12/10 - Christmas Lighting Festival, Leavenworth
Sunday 12/11 - Christmas Lighting Festival, Leavenworth
Friday 12/16 - Christmas Lighting Festival, Leavenworth
Saturday 12/17 - Christmas Lighting Festival, Leavenworth
Sunday 12/25 - Bread of Life Mission, Seattle

The 1st Christmas #Tunesday video is a little ditty by Chuck Berry called "Run, Run, Rudolph." Enjoy!

Run, run, Rudolph!

Randolph ain't too far behind!”

Who's Randolph? Maybe the one-antlered reindeer can ask Rudolph when he sees him next!

Cheers,

Read On.

This week is full of giving thanks—for life, for beautiful creation, for music, for a roof over our head and for food to eat. The list could go on.

And then there's YOU. Yes, you. Family, friends who day in and day out support us and our musical endeavors. Thank you for being wonderful.

As we all give thanks today, we'd like to take this opportunity to sing you a brand new song and share an exciting update. Enjoy!

“You don't have to close the book to turn the page.”

All Our Love,

Mr & Mrs Something

It's #Tunesday.

We owe you a video ... but first we wanted to let you know about our upcoming shows in Washington. Our website has more information. :)

Friday 11/18 - Brewminatti, Prosser
Saturday 11/19 - Emerald of Siam, Richland
Sunday 11/20 - Grace Fellowship, Prosser

Without further adieu, here is a cover tune performed at Fraternity Hall in the Elk Horn ghost town of Montana! The song is called “Wreck of the Old '97” and was the most popular song in 1923. Our “Uncle Something” is featured on banjo. Enjoy!

“Never speak harsh words to your true and lovin' husband.”

Cheers,

Mr & Mrs Something

Historic #Tunesday

Election#Tunesday.jpg

This #Tunesday is historic.

And with so many opinions and emotions flying around, we thought it would be fitting to bring everyone together with a song. As one of our favorite bands would say, we might not agree most of the time but for the next 5 minutes, let's put our differences aside and sing. This is our cover of JOHNNYSWIM's “Drunks.”

If the walls of Jericho,
could crash on down to just a tune,
I bet our walls could fall also,
even if only me and you sing.”

Love,

Mr & Mrs Something

#Tunesday from Montana!

#TunesdayFromMontana.jpg

Hey y'all!

This week we've had the privilege of touring in Montana. It has been wonderful! During our trip we've been staying with our Uncle Dave at his cabin outside of Helena. Naturally we thought it fitting to include him in our #tunesday video! This instrumental is a classic bluegrass tune called “Black Mountain Rag.”

Mr Something on guitar; Dave Peck on banjo; Dave Cogley on mandolin; Mrs Something on camera.

Cheers,

Mr & Mrs Something

It's #tunesday!

What is #Tunesday?

As some of you may have seen on social media, we have started a Tuesday tradition of posting videos! They consist of the following:

1. Original TUNES
2. Covers of some of our favorite TUNES

If you have a favorite Mr & Mrs Something tune or cover song you would like us to film, please reply and we'll put it on our list. And as always, stay TUNED! ;)

This week's song is an original from our album, Setting Sail, called "Toward The Sea."

“The sand may seem a desert but your heart is
still a stream.”
